ABOUT THIS TEAM


The Network Planning Analyst is a critical position in driving North America distribution and logistics service level and financial performance. The role will report to the Manager, Network Planning and will partner and collaborate with a team of Network Planning Analysts.  The network planning function is responsible for more effectively planning network capacity to demand across NA distribution network.


The key mandates of this role are to support ongoing execution and sustainment of network capacity model, build out of future capacity modeling capabilities and support analytical / reporting needs for the function.


A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Maintain network capacity model by updating key demand inputs (forecasting, events, etc) and capacity inputs (labor forecasts, space capacity, equipment capacity) on ongoing basis, in partnership with several cross-functional partners.
  • Drive the development/enhancement of reporting ‘dashboard’ suites (Power BI focused) that highlight both forecast accuracy and historic and future service levels/performance and cost to serve, used to inform discussion and drive decisions with key stakeholders.
  • Take on ad-hoc modeling and analysis to highlight constraints, impacts, solutions and decisions required; supporting our mandate to deliver exceptional guest experiences while ensuring financial targets are achieved.
  • Partner with FP&A and Global Fulfillment leadership to analyze monthly and quarterly DC and logistics financial and service level performance to help ensure financial targets are achieved.
  • Work alongside our program manager and IT partners to understand required enhancements to our network capacity model and adjustments to existing data flows and reporting suites to support our network growth and change.
  • Design and develop Power BI reports, dashboards and visualizations, at both operational and executive level to support network performance monitoring and decision -making,

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience creating influential data visualizations using Power BI, data mining and working with large relational databases.
  • SQL experience to query data when designing Power BI reports
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to conduct complex fulfillment network modeling and financial analysis.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; Self-starter approach to work, with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook & Word). Exceptional Power BI skills are required. Experience with SQL and other database reporting an asset.
  • Undisputed integrity, personal and business ethics; ability to build trust and respect with different stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills (verbal and non-verbal)
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field – Business, Data Analytics, statistics, mathematics
