About this team
The Labor Planning & Optimization team is a collective of passionate, agile, and entrepreneurial team members who provide an end-to-end view of lululemon's DC employees. We work closely with our DCs and cross-functional partners to ensure we have the right people, in the right place, at the right time. As part of our team, you’ll be able to quickly leverage the details of our daily operations, and translate them into the bigger picture of our Supply Chain operations.
A day in the life:
As the Senior Analyst, Labor Planning & Optimization you will support our West Coat Distribution Centers and:
• Partner with DC Managers to develop and implement daily level staffing plans
• Align business needs (demand) with workforce requirements (supply) to identify agile labor models
• Develop daily and weekly reporting dashboards for cross-functional review
• Analyze trends in operational metrics and identify root causes, risks, and opportunities
You'll also be directly involved in the optimizion of labor across the network to:
• Dream big and design, implement and track DC optimization projects
• Engage with on-site DC employees to maximize our work-day experience
• Design Labor model optimization processes
• Support the development of a Labor Management Portfolio
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of progressive staffing or operational planning experience within a fast paced business environment
• Retail / Distribution industry experience an asset
• Expert knowledge of Excel is required and working knowledge of Power BI is an asset
