About this team
The lululemon Liaison Office (LLO) team is dedicated to ensuring our components are produced of the highest quality, delivered when we need them, and manufactured with partners who share our commitment to elevating the world. Not only do we manage the production of great product, we also build great relationships.
 
A day in the life:
  • Report and support the Production Manager/Merchandising Manager to manage production from BUY confirmation to shipment
  • Train the vendors on lululemon production and logistics policies, processes and IT systems; roll out new processes and systems to assigned vendors as needed;
  • Manage the BUY confirmation to negotiate the best delivery with vendors. Analyze the capacity and capability of vendors to make sure they can deliver the right product and on time;
  • Follow up on liability SOP with vendors due to cancellation;
  • Able to anticipate high risk areas and take lead in resolving any potential or current issues with cross functional teams to minimize the immediate impact;
  • Manage production process which include managing Critical Path, WIP, PO change, and WWMT;
  • Prepare the Past Due Date and Delay Reason Code reports;
  • Visit factories for production tracking; arrange and attend vendors review meetings;
  • Work closely with our Compliance and Quality teams in ensuring that our social compliance and quality standards are adhered to and goals are met, and communicate delivery statuses and issues to appropriate SSC counterparts in a timely and concise manner.

Qualifications:
  • Your ideal background: Bachelor’s degree in Textiles or related fields; 7+ years experience in a similar role within a production environment; strong knowledge of technical fabrics, garment construction and related machinery.
  • You are able to analyze work flow and are able to access bottlenecks; are fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English;
  • Strong IT skills needed – you are an MS Excel guru! And you love working with a lot of Microsoft Office, Tradestone, GTNexus and FlexPLM!
