A day in the life: 

You will partner closely with the Senior designer to create world class athletic and fashion accessories acknowledged as leading in innovation, design, function, fit and quality.

You support in designing and executing seasonal collections that reflect lululemon’s ethos.

you help create and develop the line for your designated classes/sub-classes from inception of ideas to production. 

  • You will design create, complete and maintain accurate technical packages and supporting documentation for designs in your category.
  • You attend fit sessions for your assigned styles and accurately communicate and update the tech specs, representing your vision.
  • Offer your construction expertise to aid in finding the appropriate design solutions.
  • Support Design in preparing for cross-functional reviews and the creation of presentation documents.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal partners (Design, Product Development, Sourcing, Raw Materials, Quality, Merchandising) to understand accountabilities and requirements.
  • Qualifications:
  • You are a 21st century maker.  Education in industrial design, UX/UI or graphic design is a plus.
  • You believe in a human center design approach and have a portfolio which expresses it.
  • Proficient communicator able to take complex ideas and express them on paper for others to understand.
  • You are not afraid to get your hands dirty, dive deep into research, prototyping, patternmaking, 3D printing and or any other activity that will help vet out a design.
  • Your design skills are up to date. sketching, creative suite and CAD 
  • Ability to work and deliver against deadlines.
