a day in the life: what you’ll do
  • Manage and prioritize requests and duties against team capacity
  • Manage team processes and workflow (team of approx. 7-8 direct reports)
  • Oversee a combination of dashboards, automated reporting, training, and documentation to support partners in self serving data and insights 
  • Set and monitor standards for the quality and delivery of analysis and insights and coach and mentor Analysts to produce consistently high quality output
  • Partner with Data Collection team to ensure that the data required to support stakeholders is available when needed 
  • Partner and coordinate with Digital Optimization team to ensure that test monitoring and analysis is provided to meet business timelines
  • Ensure eCommerce and Product Management partners have the data, reporting, and insights needed to make sound business decisions and identify and quantify opportunities for improvement and growth
  • Evolve analysis offerings and team skill sets to grow maturity and sophistication and increase the business impact of the team over time 
  • Evangelize data driven thinking best practices and grow the data literacy and maturity of eCommerce and Omni overall
  • Partner with data stakeholders and stay connected to industry peers and trends to evolve team offerings and functions over time 

qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in the digital data / analytics field 
  • 2+ years people leadership / team management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to drive both strategic and operational improvements
  • Strong Adobe Analytics skills preferred. Experience with an assortment of tools and data types are an asset (Excel, Power BI, Adobe Target, Quantum Metric, Google Analytics, etc. ) 
  • University or college degree (or equivalent analytics training)
