About this Team

The Warehouse Team Lead plays a key role in the DC Leadership Team. They are responsible for supervising the warehouse floor, taking initiative, delegating work, providing “in the moment” feedback and coaching to the team, following up on outstanding issues and is a star “go to” person. Under the supervision and direction of the DC Supervisor, the position assists in any leadership duties that arise, thereby working directly with the Warehouse Operations Supervisor, and DC Manager, as well as directly supervising the warehouse associates. The warehouse team lead role is a leadership role that spends 60-70% of their day in warehouse operations (picking, receiving, slotting, etc). 

A Day In The Life

  • You are responsible for assisting in the management of the warehouse daily operations 
  • You manage the development of the warehouse associates to ensure the successful delivery of the lululemon athletica culture, philosophy and values
  • You encourage and energize staff, and assist in evolving the Distribution Centre productivity tools and workflow
  • You give in the moment feedback and coaching to the team
  • You enroll all necessary people in all necessary communication
  • You directly supervise the warehouse associates when managing the floor
  • You organise and execute daily alignment meetings while encouraging, and motivating all staff to strive for greatness
  • You maintain a safe and fun work environment at all times and are responsible for ensuring that all warehouse policies are adhered to by all team members
  • Under the direction of the warehouse operations supervisor, performs and completes other additional projects, duties and assignments as required and/or request
  • You ensure efficient and cost-effective operations of the transfer completion process releases, distributes, and monitors daily workload by following set procedures
  • You develop people through vision and goals, straight talk and intentional listening

  • You have extensive knowledge in Merchandise Management Systems (MMS) 
  • You constantly coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks within a changing environment 
  • You are capable of coordinating the workflow on the warehouse floor efficiently
  • You have demonstrated ability to hold their team accountable for their own growth and development
  • You have demonstrated ability to think outside of the box, enjoys challenges and is solutions-oriented
  • You have the ability to lift 35Ibs repeatedly
