The IDEA team infuses concepts of inclusion, diversity and equity throughout every facet of the business and impacts our teams, our guests, our vendors and the communities where we conduct business. 

a day in the life
  • Partner with communications and operations managers to support NA Retail youlu channels & other avenues of communications
  • Partner with internal communication teams and channels, including social media and other guest facing outlets
  • Partner with NAM retail operations team in order to integrate IDEA programming with existing structures and processes
  • Advise, partner and consult NA Retail PC Managers, Area Directors, People Practices teams in relevant NA Retail matters from a subject matter expertise
  • Manage net new projects as related to IDEA to ensure participation and access to internal collective  ie: ERGs
  • Integration of IDEA principles into daily operational, system and people practices of North America Retail.
  • Lead, develop and manage team.
  • Deliver, create and facilitate IDEA sessions to upskill NA business leaders and support global teams when necessary.
  • Partner and consult with internal & external consultants (SME) to deliver, consult, and/or facilitate IDEA sessions to upskill business partners and leaders. 
qualifications  
  • experience in working in a global retail organization preferred
  • 5-8 years experience in leading operational systems/processes or communications teams or equivalent
  • 3-5 years experience and interest in DEI research and trends
  • Bachelors degree in business, communications or humanities field or equivalent experience
  • Highly organized
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication and conflict resolution skills
  • High emotional and cultural intelligence
  • Social Media acumen
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite including: PowerPoint, Excel, &Teams
  • Comfort and confidence in working and leading remotely 
  • Global mindset and openness to working outside NA hours as needed 
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about staying up to date on current events & DEI research
  • Project or Program Management Skills & experience in remote facilitation and technology tools such as zoom and webinar platforms
  • Experience using design software such as InDesign, Canva or other graphic design technology
