About this team
Based in Hong Kong the Head of Communications and PR, Asia Pacific reports to the Vice President, Global Communications & PR.  This role will also work closely with the VP, Brand Marketing, Asia Pacific.  
This role will lead a team of approximately 5 people across external communications, consumer PR, internal communications, and retail communications, with abilities to further develop the function.

A day in the life: 
Lead communications and PR strategies and execution for lululemon within the Asia Pacific region, including Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Australia and New Zealand
Develop and guide the external media strategy and execution within the region to introduce the brand to new guests, position the company as a thought leader, and gain attention for the company’s leadership positions in the areas of innovation, sustainability and culture, to name a few
Manage and oversee the high-performing external communications agencies identified to amplify the brand and create action-oriented, inspiring PR strategies and campaigns
Lead internal communications across the region to celebrate the company’s culture while inspiring and educating retail and SSC employees about the company’s business strategies, policies and initiatives
Serve as a member of the Global Communications team, working closely with peers across corporate communications, consumer PR, internal communications and regional communications
Work closely as part of the Brand and Marketing organization within the company to collaborate closely on initiatives to amplify the brand
Develop and regularly report on key indicators to objectively show the impact of strategy
Manage and build a team across the region in internal communications, PR, and corporate communications
Stay current on news, trends and political climate and keep global leaders informed on business impacts

Key Skills and Qualifications:
More than 15 years of experience in communications building authentic and meaningful relationships with the media and thought leaders
Demonstrated success guiding public relations and communications for major brands
Extensive relationships with the media, and a strong understanding of the digital landscape
Success leading and developing a team, creating opportunities for growth
An outstanding writer and storyteller who has a track record delivering for executives on multiple platforms and forums, ranging from speaking opportunities to internal messages to employees
Proven ability to develop forward-looking brand strategies in competitive and dynamic situations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and strong presentation skills
Able to quickly and easily develop relationships with people across cultures and geographies
Naturally inspires others and demonstrates an appetite for learning and personal development
Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related discipline. 
Fluent in English
