A day in the life:
Reporting to P&C Manager, China, you act as a key store liaison specialist for the region/are of multiple stores, consulting on all People & Culture (HR) matters, with expertise in systems (Workday, Taleo, Humanity, Ceridian DayForce). Role assures all upstream people elements are handled on behalf of their assigned stores in a timely manner and/or by the designed functional by when.
Elements of the role:
· Coordinating analytics and insights to advise the people plan in the region
· Ensuring that diversity and inclusion are a foundation of the business and people plan
· Create and implement tailored long – term and short-term people strategy and programs in the region; including recruitment, capability development and team development
· Helps to enable a compliant and high-performance culture through aligned performance management, reward and recognition frameworks in the region
· Act as a lead people auditor of a designated region/area of multiple stores to insure Store Manager has completed all P&C related objectives each week
· Assists/removes human error in all upstream and midstream Workday/Avature processes/practices in order to remove downstream payroll impacts
· Liaises and communicates with Payroll Specialists on daily/weekly/monthly basis to ensure 100% accuracy on all payroll, hours and employee data
· Coaches SM and ASM levels on all matters related to P&C and acts as local expert in provincial regulations and compliances
· Coaches the SM and ASM on employment and employee life cycle matters
· Consults/audits store on social welfare matters and regulations- benefits, compensation to various P&C stakeholders as required
· Monitors Store compliance with local regulations (allowances, leaves, health and safety, etc)
· Facilitates dialogue and may execute any/and/or all of the following with or on behalf of/with SM/Stores:
Qualifications:
· Familiarity with retail/store matters
· 3-5 years HR BP background
· Knowledge of China regulations/ provincial compliances in specific regional areas
· Mobility to change work location on a regular basis, frequent travel necessary; comfortability working from a retail back of house office/location
· Ability to deal with ambiguity and frequent travel
· Multi-site, multi-venue client management/audit experience
· University degree preferred; Bachelors in HR management or China HRM Certification also preferred
